Claude L. Vander Ploeg received his bachelor's degree from Calvin College and his law degree from the University of Michigan. Claude has a practice concentrated in natural resources law, real estate law and securities regulation law. Claude has written and lectured extensively regarding legal issues affecting the oil and gas industry. He is a member of the Grand Rapids and American Bar Associations and the State Bar of Michigan. Claude is a member of the Michigan Oil and Gas Association and serves on its Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Independent Petroleum Association of America. Claude has served as a member and president of the Board of Directors of the Holland Home, a large not for profit retirement home, and as its former president and as a member and secretary of the National Board of Directors of Bethany Christian Services, an international social agency addressing child welfare issues.
