David R. Fernstrum received his bachelor's degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and his law degree from Wayne State University, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board, the National Moot Court Team and the Order of the Barristers. David specializes in labor and employment law, and has been representing and counseling management of private sector and public sector employers since 1975. He is active in the Section of Labor and Employment Law of the American Bar Association, and is past chair of the Committee on State and Local Government Bargaining and Employment Law. David is also a member of the Labor and Employment Section of the State Bar of Michigan and past Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Grand Rapids Bar Association.
