Matthew E. Fink

Matthew E. Fink practices in the areas of local government law and real estate law, with a primary emphasis on zoning and land use planning. Matt received his bachelor of arts degree cum laude from DePauw University in 2001, and he received his law degree cum laude from Indiana University School of Law in 2004. While attending law school, Matt was a managing editor of the Indiana Law Journal and received the Scribe Award for Excellence in Writing.

In his law practice, Matt performs a number of zoning and planning services for local municipalities, including legal review of proposed planned unit developments, site condominiums, subdivision plats, special land uses, variance requests, and other proposed land uses and drafting of associated ordinances, resolutions, and development agreements.

In addition, Matt regularly advises municipalities on compliance with the Open Meetings Act, the Freedom of Information Act, Michigan election law, and other municipal governance and administrative matters.
