Ross A. Leisman

Ross A. Leisman is a native of Grand Rapids. He graduated with honors from Calvin College in 1984, and with honors from the University of Michigan Law School in 1988. Ross has practiced law with Mika Meyers Beckett & Jones since his graduation from law school. Ross is chairman of the firm's Local Government Practice Group and has served on the firm's Management Committee. Ross concentrates his practice in litigation, land use and municipal law. He has served on several institutional committees, including five years as chairman of the Ada Township Planning Commission, member of the Ada Township Open Space Task Force, member of Ada Christian School Board, member of the Grand Rapids Christian School Association Board of Trustees, chairman of the Grand Rapids Christian High School Board, and a member of the GAP PAC executive committee. He is a member of the Grand Rapids and American Bar Associations, the State Bar of Michigan, and serves as a mediator for the Kent County Circuit Courts.
