Scott D. Broekstra focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation matters of all varieties, specializing in matters related to environmental, technical and engineering issues, oil and gas, products liability, contracts and banking law in state and federal courts. He also practices in all areas of environmental law, including complex environmental litigation and regulatory work related to Superfund, RCRA, the Clean Air Act and the Clean Water Act. Scott is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Grand Rapids Bar Association (Environmental Law and Litigation Sections) and the American Bar Association (Environment, Energy and Resources Section). He graduated from Hope College with a bachelor of administration degree, Indiana University with a masters of science degree and from the University of Oregon School of Law with a juris doctorate degree.
